CompareMyAgents exists to help Australians make more informed decisions when choosing professional agents, advisors, consultants, and brokers.

We believe that comparison — based on verified facts, real reviews, and objective data — should be accessible to everyone. We are not a directory and we are not a marketplace. We do not generate leads, accept advertising, or charge businesses for better placement.

Our goal is simple: give you the information you need to choose with confidence.

Each profile on CompareMyAgents is built from a combination of publicly available information and our own research. Sources include government registers where they exist (such as the MARA register for migration agents, ASIC for mortgage brokers and the NDIS Commission for NDIS providers), industry bodies such as PIER for education consultants — who are not government-registered in Australia — business websites, and publicly available contact details.

We check that registration numbers are current and accurate at the time of listing. We note the source of each data point on every profile so you can see where information comes from.

We update profiles when we become aware of changes, and we display a “last updated” date on every profile so you know how current the information is.

We write profile content in plain, factual language. We do not write promotional copy on behalf of businesses. The “Business Overview” sections on profiles are based on publicly available information and do not constitute an endorsement.

The “Best Suited For” information is derived from a business's recorded specialisations. It is intended to help you assess fit, not to recommend one business over another.

We do not remove reviews because a business asks us to, and we do not allow businesses to pay to suppress negative reviews or promote positive ones.

CompareMyAgents is independently operated. We do not accept payment from businesses in exchange for better search rankings, more prominent placement, or positive editorial coverage.

No business can pay to appear higher in search results, receive a “featured” badge, or have a review removed. Every profile is listed on the same basis — the only factors that affect ranking are review count, average rating, and relevance to your search.

We do not receive referral fees when you contact a business through our platform. We do not pass your contact details to any business. You contact agents directly.

Every review submitted to CompareMyAgents goes through an email verification step before it is published. Reviewers must confirm their email address by clicking a link sent to them — anonymous submissions are not accepted.

We do not verify that a reviewer was a client of the specific business. Email verification proves the review came from a real, reachable person — not a bot or anonymous account. It does not prove the reviewer used the service.

We publish our full verification methodology, moderation rules, and editorial standards on dedicated policy pages so you can assess our process yourself.
