By accessing or using comparemyagents.com.au (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
The Platform is operated by CompareMyAgents (“we”, “our”, “us”), an Australian comparison service.
1. Purpose of the Platform
CompareMyAgents provides information to help Australians compare professional agents, advisors, consultants, and brokers. The Platform is an independent information resource — it is not a marketplace, lead-generation service, or referral platform. We do not facilitate transactions between users and businesses.
2. Permitted use
You may use the Platform to:
- Browse and compare information about professional service providers
- Read and submit reviews in accordance with our Review Policy
- Share links to Platform pages for non-commercial purposes
You must not:
- Use the Platform to scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent reviews
- Attempt to manipulate ratings or rankings on the Platform
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems
- Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit Platform content without our written permission
3. Review submissions
By submitting a review, you confirm that the review reflects your genuine experience and that you have the right to publish it.
You grant CompareMyAgents a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to publish, display, and moderate your review on the Platform and in associated communications (such as social media summaries of platform activity).
We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our Review Policy. We do not remove reviews solely because a business receives a low rating or because a business requests removal.
You may request removal of your own review at any time by contacting us. See our Review Policy for details.
4. Accuracy of information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the information on the Platform is accurate and up to date. Business profiles are built from publicly available sources including government registers. However, we cannot guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or currency of all information.
Information on the Platform does not constitute professional advice. Before engaging any professional service provider, you should conduct your own due diligence and verify credentials directly with the relevant regulatory body.

5. Intellectual property
All content on the Platform — including editorial text, comparison frameworks, design, and code — is owned by or licensed to CompareMyAgents. Business names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. No endorsement is implied.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. CompareMyAgents does not warrant that the Platform will be available, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the extent permitted by Australian law, CompareMyAgents will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Platform, reliance on information on the Platform, or any decision made on the basis of Platform content.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

The Platform may include links to business websites and external resources. These links are provided for convenience only. CompareMyAgents does not endorse or take responsibility for the content of third-party websites.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
