Is CompareMyAgents really free to use?
Yes — completely free for consumers, with no sign-up required. You can compare providers, read reviews and use every tool without paying anything.
How do you make money if providers don’t pay you?
Right now, we don’t. There are no paid listings, no advertising, no sponsored rankings and no referral fees from providers. Nobody can pay to rank higher or to have a competitor removed.
How are providers verified?
Where a profession has an official government or industry register, we check each provider against it — MARA for migration agents, ASIC for mortgage brokers and financial advisers, the NDIS Commission for NDIS providers, state registers for conveyancers, and REBAA for buyer’s agents. Some professions, such as education consultants, are not licensed in Australia, so for those we verify what we can and say so plainly rather than implying a register that does not exist.
Can a business pay for a better ranking?
No. Rankings are never for sale. Ordering is based on objective signals and, over time, genuine verified reviews — never payment.
How do reviews work?
Reviews come from real people who used a provider. Every review is email-verified and moderated before it goes live, and we never write reviews ourselves or reward positive ones.
