Editorial assessment

What we love

  • One of the few registered agents with a physical Hobart CBD office — local TAS nomination knowledge.

  • Registered practice (MARN 2217740) covering the full skilled, family and student visa range.

Where it falls short

  • Small regional practice — complex corporate sponsorship programs may need a mainland firm.

  • Fees are not published — request a written quote at consultation.

Highly recommended! I received my nomination last week and I’m very happy with the services. Communication was excellent throughout the process. They even launched my visa application over the weekend—something most other consultants wouldn’t even respond to during that time. Truly appreciate their dedication and professionalism. Highly recommended!

I am extremely grateful for the outstanding service I received from intact immigration the beginning to the end of my case, they were patient, honest, and highly professional. They made a complicated process easy to understand and were always available to answer my questions and provide reassurance. Their expertise, dedication, and attention to detail gave me confidence throughout the journey. I sincerely appreciate all of their hard work and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking immigration assistance. Thank you for your exceptional support and commitment. Thankyou Punam God bless you

I am writing this in good faith hoping this is taken as a feedback. I came with high hopes after hearing good things through word of mouth. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. A mistake was made in my visa application, which led to the Department asking for more documents and delaying my visa. The process felt casual at times, in a way that could have ended very badly for my visa. I trusted them to get my application right the first time. When I raised my concerns, I was told something like, “worst case, the visa is refused and we’ll fight it at the AAT — it’s not a big deal.” This was very stressful to hear, given how serious visa matters are. Communication was poor, and I often felt like I was annoying them when I had to follow up for updates or answers. I expected more care and responsibility. I would advise future clients to be cautious and carefully check everything submitted on their behalf.

I had a very disappointing experience with this migration agent. They made a serious mistake in my friend’s visa application, which could have had major consequences. What made it worse was their attitude afterward — there was no proper follow-up, no sense of responsibility, and very little care shown once the mistake was identified. Given how important visa applications are, accuracy and accountability are essential. Unfortunately, this service failed on both. I would not recommend this agent to anyone who values careful handling of their immigration matters.

CompareMyAgents Editorial

The bottom line

Intact Migration is one of the few registered migration practices with a physical office in the Hobart CBD, putting it close to the Tasmanian state nomination action that drives much of the state's migration. For applicants pursuing TAS 190/491 nomination — where local knowledge of Tasmania's frequently-updated requirements matters — a local agent is a genuine advantage over mainland firms working remotely.
