Ability WA's cerebral-palsy heritage shows in its clinical depth: therapy teams, a dedicated assistive-technology arm and accommodation experience that generalist providers lack. Perth-metro focused with a country toll-free line; regional WA families should confirm what can actually be delivered locally versus by teletherapy.

Confusing onboarding process for participant with NDIS plan requiring AT. Ability WA demanding 100 point verification. Explained that elderly pareents couldn`t find the required ID. They offered to transfer me to the NDIS. When I explained that in order to become a participant the NDIS would have verified their identity and would the NDIS plan be verification enough so we could get the AT required, they said it was their policy not to accept it. Tried another AT provider. 5 minutes later job was accepted requiring only name, address, NDIS number, D.O.B. and referral. Beaurecratic and archaic in a time where NDIS is confusing enough and services are becoming more streamlined to assist those with disabilities and their families.
