Just the worst. Take your family members with disabilities elsewhere. A prevalent culture of "blame the disabled person for everything that goes wrong" and participants are often left ignored in a corner somewhere. I have so many terrible stories of things I saw there, performed my so-called professional "care" staff, it could fill a book.

My brother has enjoyed coming to his supported workplace since he left school. To find out via the media he will be out of a job with no immediate viable alternative is absolutely disgusting. You're a not for profit that had a 13 million dollar surplus last year. The original purpose of this organisation was to provide supported workplaces and yet now you refuse to use that surplus to fund these services. Not even a longer term transition plan. 6 weeks that's it. On top of that no information to families about what the hell is going on. Absolutely disgusting and immoral behaviour. I highly encourage everyone - corporation's and individuals alike to boycott supporting Activ. If your not going to support the people you were set up to support then why should we support you?
