It was an exciting first day, the 3 customers, Sherly and the Team were all wonderful. I was lucky my first day was the day for the "No assumption training" learned alot, also had a good meal 😀. I was guided all through my first day. It was a nice experience meeting the customers and the whole Team, it didn't seem like my first day because everyone was all smiles, welcoming and supportive. 👍👍👍

Amazing staff, very friendly yet professional. A very conducive and accommodating environment especially for people with autism. They offer wonderful programs like the teen program for people with autism to improve skills such as social, etc. during school days including the school holidays.

Northcott has consistently demonstrated a money‑first approach with very little regard for participant wellbeing. In my experience, there is limited choice and control, and serious concerns around neglect, lack of training, and poor oversight. Many support staff appeared untrained and spent large portions of their shifts on their phones, including making international video calls, instead of supporting participants. Management oversight was minimal, which allowed these systemic issues to continue. The complaints process is ineffective — decisions are made by someone in an office with no understanding of the real impact on participants, and outcomes seem designed to protect the organisation rather than address concerns. Boarding and utilities charges are higher than comparable providers, food choices are limited, and budgets are often not fully spent on participants. Cultural backgrounds were not respected, especially when it came to cooking and understanding a person’s past culture. Staff often showed little awareness of cultural needs or preferences, which left participants feeling unheard and unsupported Based on my experience, Northcott’s practices raise serious concerns about exploitation, accountability, and participant safety.

So many issues- 3 NDIA commission complaints this year alone. Poor management on many levels. Management take ZERO responsibility when a complaint is made and blame the participant, however were some great support staff in my brothers home. But still glad my brother is out of there. Would NEVER recommend

North ot his horrible! Liers that don’t care one little bit about you or your situation and their very big aim is to have a poor outcome , one that only benefits them and if you date to complain you will be punished with a LONG wait = Huge delays , don’t believe any person there , your case worker working “for you” coming across amicable and symphatetic , best thing is deal directly with ndis and keep you local member involved if you do experience issues at the begging Shame on Northcoth !!! So very dissapointed ! Poor NDIA choosing contractors of this calibre to set themselves to failure :(
