Recently I had the task of clearing out & selling my aunt's house a 3 hour drive from where I live as she had entered aged care. This was beyond my capability due to distance, complexity & size, so after clearing the personal effects etc. I recalled hearing ads on Coast FM for Waterman Property. I contacted Chris Waterman directly & he with an associate met me at the property some 80 kms from his base without hesitation. We talked, they assessed the situation & in a couple of days gave me a quote for the clearance which I accepted. They completed the task in 4 days, also arranging house cleaning & garden maintenance. Again, not having much local knowledge, I engaged Chris as seller advocate. He presented me with proposals from 3 different local agents, I accepted what I believed to be the best one. I had minimal contact with the agent as Chris handled the majority of dealings. The property sold in short order at a very good price, commission having already been negotiated at a good percentage & settlement was expedited which was a big concern as my aunt was paying a great deal in aged care until funds were available from the house sale. Could not be happier overall. Clearly the house clearance cost was considerable as it was a huge task (everything has a price) but the cost of engaging Chris as seller advocate was zero for me (or my aunt at least) as his fee was paid by the agent as part of their commission. I don't understand why anyone would buy or sell a property by themselves when distance or local knowledge is a problem when this service is available at no cost. Excellent service.

10/10 experience with Matt and the whole Waterman team. From start to finish they were helpful, attentive and informative about what could be a very stressful process.
