Editorial assessment
What we love
Est. 1988 — nearly 40 years of continuous operation makes ACAE one of the longest-running education consultancies in Australia, with deep institutional relationships built over decades.
Full-spectrum service from high school through postgraduate, including NAATI translation and tutoring in-house — reduces the need for multiple separate providers.
International offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Japan — source-country support is available before students arrive in Australia.
Where it falls short
Primary orientation toward Chinese-speaking students — service may be less tailored for students from non-Chinese-speaking backgrounds.
No MARA or PIER credentials prominently listed on the English-language website — confirm agent qualifications before sharing personal documents.
Sydney-only Australian presence — students outside NSW have no in-person access and must engage remotely.

CompareMyAgents Editorial
The bottom line
ACAE's 38-year track record is the longest of any education consultancy in this review and a genuine indicator of institutional longevity. Its full-spectrum offering — high school through postgraduate, visa, migration, translation, tutoring — reduces the need for multiple providers. The main limitation is its primary orientation toward Chinese-speaking students; service may be less tailored for students from other linguistic backgrounds. No PIER or MARA credentials are prominently listed on the English-language website; verify agent qualifications before sharing personal documents.
